The Mattoon Public Library offers Notary Public services during the following scheduled hours:

Monday-Friday: 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

IMPORTANT: Those seeking notarized documents must present a current and valid form of identification (Driver’s License, State I.D., or Passport). This form of I.D. cannot be expired.

Some of the most common documents to require notarization include, but are not limited to:

• Articles of incorporation.
• Real estate contracts and property deeds.
• Legal affidavits.
• Loan documents.
• Powers of attorney.
• Passport applications.
